All boats will be subject to a measurement check between Friday, 3 January and Saturday 4th January 2025

LAY DAY WALK AROUND FREMANTLE
Join fellow sailor and local historian Mike Lefroy for a guided walk around Fremantle. Mike will share the story of Fremantle/Walyalup from pre-colonial days to the present with particular focus on Maritime History.
Departure time: 10am
Duration: 90 minutes.
Distance: 1.5 km. Mostly flat with some stairs up to and down from the Round House. The walk is a circular route finishing back at the Shipwrecks Museum
Meet: at 9.45am on the grassed area outside the Shipwrecks Museum - the old Maritime Museum corner of Cliff Street and Marine Terrace opposite the Esplanade Park.
Access/Parking: Street parking or car park nearby. Easy 10 minute walk from the Train Station.
Cost: Free

Bring in the New Year at RFBYC. Join Club Members for sailing, dining and entertainment.

Join in RFBYC’s midweek sailing regatta – no spinnakers! Places are available onboard Members’ yachts or come out for a shake-down in your boat. Racing commences from 3pm. - Pop down to Cottesloe Beach for an early morning dip or post-race sunset fish & chips.
- Watch the sunrise from along the Wagyl River Walk from RFBYC to Devil’s Elbow and return (2.4km).
- Discover the birdlife at Lake Claremont – a 2.25km lakeside bush and greenfield walk with early morning coffee at the T-Box Café OR challenge the crew to an easy Par 3 nine holes at the adjacent Claremont Golf Course.
- Get the heart pumping with the RFBYC -The Chine Walk (3km return) and for an extra challenge, disappear down The Coombe and drag yourself back up (an extra 1km).
