About the Fitness Centre

The Fitness Centre is a 4m x 8m studio space that hosts a functional trainer cable machine, squat rack, rowing machine, stationary bike, upper body ergometer (sailing specific grinder) as well as a number of free weights to accommodate a range of varied exercises.

As well as the Fitness Centre, group fitness classes will be utilising the River Side Room in the Dinghy & Training Centre and the surrounding grass to make use of our beautiful grounds to provide services to as many members as possible.

What's on Offer

GROUP FITNESS


Group Fitness is designed to cater for a broad spectrum of fitness levels consisting of a combination of strength, cardio, and mobility exercises all scalable to ability. The meeting spot for class is the River Side Room in the Dinghy Training Centre.

The classes are limited to 20 participants and you must be a minimum of 16 years old. Please ensure to book your spot through the website.

Classes are $15 per session and will be charged to your member account. You can cancel your classes through the member login, free of charge up, until 11:59pm the day prior to class commencing.

To be eligible to book you must have completed your Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (Par-Q) and returned to [email protected]

We will then provide you with confirmation that your Par-Q is received and that your member login has access to Fitness Class bookings.

Once you receive confirmation of access you can then sign into the website by going to the login page here: https://rfbyc.asn.au/web/pages/login

Once signed in, you are free to book your space in a session through the Club Calendar on the website.

The current timetable is below, one class is offered on MONDAY, and two classes on WEDNESDAY and FRIDAY.

  7:30am to 8:15am 7:30am to 8:15am

Note:  Group fitness classes do not operate on public holidays.
 

PERSONAL TRAINING and SMALL GROUP TRAINING


The personal training studio space that the Fitness Centre occupies is ideal for private one-on-one sessions or small group training with up to 5 people. See the fee structure in the table below:

45 minutes Personal Training (One on One) $75
60 minutes Personal/Small Group Training (Up to five) $100

A special introductory package of three 30-minute sessions for $110 is also available to members. This introductory package consists of initial consultation & planning session as well as two 30-minute sessions. Each member is eligible for one package.

For Small Group Training bookings (2 – 5 people) please provide all members names so we can ensure they have filled out the PAR – Q form.

RFBYC GYM MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT
