Prower Boat Handling Course

This one-day course is designed to improve your boat handling skills, especially in confined areas such as marinas and in swell and waves. You will learn more about engines and types of crafts and practise navigation techniques on a passage.

To enrol in this course you must be water confident and hold your Recreational Skipper's Ticket.

This course is a prerequisite for being a qualified Dinghy and/or Windsurfing Instructor. We highly recommend that Dinghy Racing Volunteers complete this course.

Please register below for the Power Boat Handling course. The registration booking must be made in the name of the participant.

Club members should login to MyRFBYC (as the participant) to make the booking and receive the member price, $195.

Non-member participants, please place your name in the attendee field and at the next step, you will be prompted to answer the course questions and then register for a guest pass (credentials will be sent by email for future bookings). Non Members price is $275.

Payment can be made online by credit card for non-member and member participants - members can choose to pay by member account.

Cost per adult is $195 Members | $275 Non Members.
