Nice write-up in this week’s Post Newspaper featuring some of our Optimist stars - Orlando Ligovich, Thomas Cooper, Nicholas Cooper, Harry Cooper and Alexander Eyles. 🤩
Second across the line in the 75th Bunbury and Return was SECRET WEAPON. New owner Rob and his team with their Fast 40+ completed the 170nm race in 21h.40m.19s.
Next up, Sirene, Al Fresco and CheckMate all coming in after 0900 this morning and just over a day at sea.

Overnight a record was broken. Well done to CRUSH for smashing the 2016 race fastest time and completing the 75th Bunbury and Return Ocean Race in 16 hours, 26 minutes and 21 seconds.
Ideal conditions for the team who picked a great line in to Bunbury and absolutely flew back. We bet the crew are tired now!
Well done to Dave and team, CRUSHED IT ⛵️🤙🏼

Ready, set, go.
Crush turned in Bunbury at 7:25pm and now she’s flying north at over 20 knots.
Stay tuned. That race record may just get CRUSHED!

CRUSH with Bunbury in her sights and the race record too. Will we see the 2016 race record of 17h 42m 09s held by RFBYC’s Indian fall tonight?
Watch the race, we calculate that a finish at 02:52.09 or earlier will CRUSH it!
Courtesan in Koombana can see the team approaching, ready for the big turn.
