Club greatly appreciates the help and support volunteers provide. RFBYC is very fortunate to have a large group of highly qualified and experienced volunteers. This has always placed the Club in a strong position. However, we are currently experiencing difficulty in attracting sufficient volunteers to help on a regular basis.

The Club needs volunteers for ongoing support to its sailing programme, regattas and the range of State, National and International Events that it hosts.

Volunteers are needed in the following areas: Race Officers, Umpires, Protest Committee, Start boat helpers, Mark Layers and Support Boat Drivers.

The RFBYC Volunteer Charter adopted by Yachting Committee in 2009 provides support to our volunteers in the way of training, clothing and ongoing recognition.
