Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club is not only about sailing and boating. The Club knows how and when to celebrate and runs a wide variety of events for members - from very casual to somewhat formal.

The Clubhouse has retained the charm and quality of the original pre-Federation homestead, making it one of Perth's finest facilities for entertaining. The Members' bar and verandas, along with dining and private function rooms, all contribute to an atmosphere of relaxed enjoyment that gently rolls over the lawns and gardens to the river.

During a normal year, members and their guests can expect to take advantage of the many offerings from the Club's galley. From a la carte menus offering fare to reflect the climate and casual elegance of the surroundings to good value pasta and roast buffets, Twilight party food and sumptuous Sunday seafood buffets.

Theme parties, Melbourne Cup lunches, combined mess nights and prize nights complete the regular event offerings.

Then, of course, the Club occasionally conducts extra special events such as the Louis Vuitton Party, Grand Centenary Party and the Y2K Gala mega party, still talked about regularly and unforgettable for all who attended.
